Dubai olive oil competition is recognized now as the most marketing contest in the world

Step 1:

Once registered, the producers send us their bottles to France.

Sending a package to Dubai is extremely expensive it’s around 190 euros per DHL for a 2 kilos package. While from Europe a parcel from Spain, Italy, Greece or Portugal will only cost around 15 euros with DHL for 2 kilos (we have a reduced rate)

Step 2:

 Once the bottles arrive to France our team first ensures that the bottles are in good condition, they take a photo and send it to the producer to guarantee that their bottles have arrived.

Step 3:

Then 1 bottle is sent to Dubai for the marketing part, videos, photos etc. The other bottle is split into several anonymous samples for testing.

Step 4:

Due to the COVID restrictions some juries cannot personally come to Dubai, so we send them a package with the samples that they can analyze directly at home.

Step 5:

 The other anonymous samples are also sent to Dubai for analysis and testing.

Once that’s all in place. The competition begins. The first part is reserved for the juries. They analyze all the oils and determine if the oils are winning a gold medal, silver medal or are defective.

Step 6:

The second part takes place with the chefs

We work in Dubai with many chefs, who work in the largest restaurants and palaces in Dubai.

We therefore give them direct access to the best olive oils in the world. And once the results are known, they can contact the producers directly.

Step 7:

 Once we know the winners, our marketing part begins,

 Most of the competitions are content to present the winners on a PDF or simply with a photo.

For us our goal is different, our goal is to market the best oils in the world directly to the consumer whether it is a simple individual or a professional (importer or distributor)

 And for that we will therefore create many promotional videos, whether for the competition, the jury and the brands. We do a huge promotional job, you should know that for 275 euros of participation we invest an average of 1000 euros in marketing promotions per brand.

 As you can see, our goal is absolutely not to earn money with the contest , on the contrary, we invest a lot in it.

We carried out the first edition 2 years ago, and in less than 2 years all the major contest that exist have had to adapt and renew their marketing strategies .which they have kept for several years. 

Plus, they redoing their website and now displaying the contact details of the producers. And that’s a very good thing because the most important thing is the promotion of producers.

But we also knew that it would attract a lot of opportunists who will try to make you believe that their contest will allow you to enter this or that market.

It is completely false. No contest allows you to obtain markets, not even ours.

This competition rewards early harvest olive oils; magnificent green oils with an exquisite taste. 

Maintaining a quality throughout the year is not easy for everyone that is why we have two competitions per year; one for early harvest oils and the other in June for all olive oils.

The competition in June will be exceptional, the finest juries in the world will gather in Dubai. 

You will attend the live tasting, and the results will be announced also during the competition. At the end of the competition, an exceptional awards ceremony will gather not only the best olive oils of the world but as well as the greatest olive oil experts and all the eminent chefs of Dubai in order to collaborate on the sale.
