Sample Delivery

Producers have two options for sending their samples:

🟢 Option 1: European Producers – France Collection Point

To reduce shipping costs for European producers, we have set up a collection point in France:

Address: Dubai Olive Oils Competition
73 Allée Kléber 34000 Montpellier,
France
Contact: Mr. Tarek Hassaini
Phone: +33 7 49 94 54 24
Shipping to this location is much more affordable than sending directly to Dubai.

🟢 Option 2: Direct Delivery to Dubai

If you prefer to send your samples directly to Dubai: If your Olive oils are already in Dubai, simply email us and we will send a driver to collect them.

If you are outside of Dubai, contact us by email and we will provide you with the appropriate shipping address. Please email us at Contact@dubaiooc.com to arrange your preferred shipping option.

Sample Requirements

Each entry must include:
A) 2 samples of 500 ml
or
B) 4 samples for bottles of 250 ml or smaller

All samples submitted must be in their final, retail-ready packaging.
As you know, for each winning brand, we produce professional videos and photos that are widely shared across social media and media outlets.

Therefore, it is essential that your olive oil is not sent in anonymous or substitute bottles, but in the exact bottle and label that customers would purchase.

Only oils presented in their original commercial packaging will be accepted and eligible for awards and promotional content.

Shipping Deadline

All samples must be received no later than June 15th, 2025, whether they are sent to France or Dubai.

However, we kindly ask you to send your samples as early as possible. Once samples are received, they go through an internal processing workflow (registration, anonymization, storage, preparation for tasting and media production), which requires time and organization.

Receiving your samples early ensures smooth operations and allows us to treat each brand with the attention it deserves.

Competition Process

Dubai olive oil competition is recognized now as the most marketing contest in the world

Many producers wonder how the Dubai Olive Oil Competition is conducted.

In this section, we will explain step by step how the competition works
— from the moment you send your bottles to the final announcement of the results.

Step 1: Registration

Once you have selected the number of samples you wish to submit and completed your registration

— either by credit card or by choosing bank transfer
— you will immediately receive a confirmation email.

This email will include a link to a detailed form, where you will be asked to provide:

Complete information about your brand(s)Retail and wholesale pricing (per bottle and per pallet)

Information for international buyers and commercial partners
All the details needed to create and complete your brand presentation page on www.bestoliveoils.store

This step is essential to ensure your olive oil is properly represented and made visible to importers, retailers, chefs, and distributors worldwide.

Step 2: Shipping & Sample Reception

Once you have shipped your samples, it is very important to send us the tracking number.

This allows us to monitor your shipment and intervene immediately in case of any delivery issues.

Once your bottles are received, we begin the internal process:

One of the bottles is carefully opened and poured into anonymous tasting samples.

These are coded and sent to the jury for blind evaluation — jurors have no access to brand or origin information.

The second bottle is sent to our marketing team, who begin producing the photos and videos that will be used for the official results announcement.

This dual process allows us to guarantee both the integrity of the tasting and the professional quality of our promotional content.

Step 4: Tasting & Evaluation

For the Dubai Olive Oil Competition, we have brought together some of the most respected and experienced jurors in the world to ensure that each olive oil receives the score it truly deserves.

Unlike some competitions where jurors are asked to taste hundreds of oils in a single day — something that is naturally impossible to do with accuracy — we strictly follow international tasting protocols and limit the number of samples per session.

Unlike some competitions where jurors are asked to taste hundreds of oils in a single day — something that is naturally impossible to do with accuracy — we strictly follow international tasting protocols and limit the number of samples per session.

This ensures that every oil is judged with full attention and fairness, and that the final results are reliable, professional, and fully representative of the oil’s quality.

Step 5: Competition Format

The Dubai Olive Oil Competition is divided into two key phases:

🔹 Phase 1: International Jury Tasting & Media Coverage

In this first phase, our panel of international expert jurors gathers in Dubai to evaluate the oils under professional tasting conditions.

During this phase, we also film the jury as they taste and comment on selected oils — creating high-end content that highlights the excellence and authenticity of each product.

🔹 Phase 2: Top Chefs of Dubai

In the second phase, a selection of oils is presented to the executive chefs of Dubai’s most prestigious restaurants, many of whom hold Michelin stars or Gault & Millau recognition.

These chefs taste the oils and give feedback from a culinary and professional kitchen perspective, offering real-world insight on how the oils perform in high-end gastronomy.

This dual process ensures your olive oil is judged both technically and practically, by experts and real buyers alike.

Step 6: Results Publication & Promotion

While most competitions simply publish their results as a PDF or on a static web page — often seen by no one— the Dubai Olive Oil Competition takes a completely different approach.

We are the only competition in the world that produces dedicated videos for each winning brand.

This allows producers to share their success across their social media channels, websites, or directly with importers and clients — significantly boosting brand visibility and attracting new buyers.

Our videos have reached millions of views globally, making your award a powerful marketing tool.

As you can see in our videos, we improve the quality of our productions every year.

Even producers who participate regularly receive a completely new and upgraded video each time, making every edition unique, fresh, and increasingly impactful.

If we remain, to this day, the only competition in the world producing this level of promotional content for each winner, it is because this work is extremely complex and costly to execute.

After each competition, a dedicated team of over 40 marketing professionals works day and night to:

- Film and edit every video
- Sort and recover footage
- Record voiceovers
- Perform color grading and correction
- Refine every detail to perfection

All of this is done in the shortest possible time, because we know that the moment the competition ends, every producer is eager to receive their results immediately.

We commit to delivering not only certified recognition, but a world-class promotional experience that exceeds all expectations.

Step 7: Award Ceremonies

We attend major international fairs to personally present the trophies and film the moment.

This creates a powerful spotlight for the producer, who can proudly showcase their award and attract the attention of buyers during the event.
