1. Tasting process – official timeline

As part of the Dubai Olive Oil Competition – Early Harvest Edition, olive oils are not evaluated in a single location, nor by a single tasting panel.

The tastings are conducted:in Dubai,and also directly at the premises of several international juries, operating independently from one another.

This multi-location and multi-jury approach ensures a more accurate, fair, and reliable evaluation of each olive oil.

📅 Official tasting timeline:
Tastings officially started on January 26
First evaluation phase will run until approximately February 10

From January 30, an additional phase is scheduled:
tasting of late-delivered olive oils,
re-tasting of certain samples in cases where doubts or discrepancies between jury evaluations may exist.

This complementary phase may continue until February 15, ensuring fairness and consistency in the final results.

2. Results publication – a unique process worldwide

As you know, DubaiOOC is the only olive oil competition in the world that:

creates a dedicated presentation page for each winner,
publishes results through professional video content,
delivers these videos in multiple languages.

This level of exposure requires significant production work.

🎥 Producing hundreds of professional, multilingual videos cannot be done in a single day.

👉 Therefore, results will be published progressively, as each winner’s content is finalized.

⚠️ Important notice
Please wait until the end of the publication process before assuming whether your olive oil has won or not.
A temporary absence of publication does not mean that your oil has not been awarded.

3. Producers attending Gulfood (January 26–30, 2026)

For producers present in Dubai during Gulfood (from January 26 to January 30, 2026), we offer an exclusive option:

4. Winners display & marketing tools

Official diplomas, logos, visuals, publications, and videos will be uploaded gradually to the official Google Drive link.
You are, of course, free to immediately use these marketing tools to promote your award across:
social media,press communications,commercial and professional materials.

Our work of selecting and listing the best olive oils in the world is now fully completed.

From this point forward, our mission is 100% focused on the commercial success of the awarded oils, through the opening of franchises, the launch of physical stores, and the distribution of these premium oils across all key sales channels, including fine dining restaurants, specialty retailers, and gourmet grocery stores.

Of course, winning a medal is not enough to sell your olive oils in the most prestigious locations around the world. There are essential steps that must be followed, especially in the United Arab Emirates.

To commercialize your olive oils, you must have a registered company based in the UAE, responsible for importing, storing, and marketing your products. You are required to have physical offices, local employees, and dedicated storage space to house your olive oils. This setup involves tens of thousands of euros in yearly expenses, which makes entering the UAE market highly selective.

To eliminate this barrier, we are proud to announce to all DubaiOOC 2026 winners
that we will provide you with a fully operational company in the UAE, free storage space, and we will cover all operational costs
allowing you to import, store, and market your olive oils in the UAE without spending a single euro.

📜 Mandatory First Step to Sell Your Olive Oils in the United Arab Emirates

Before you can legally sell your olive oils in the United Arab Emirates, the first mandatory step is to obtain a unique product identification number issued by the local authorities.

This number is specific to each producer and each product reference (bottle type, packaging, or blend), and it is an essential legal requirement to authorize the sale of your oils in the UAE.

✅ This number is granted once, for life, with no annual renewal required. Once your product is registered, it is permanently authorized for sale within the UAE, with no further recurring administrative costs.

To facilitate your access to the UAE market, we have established a dedicated import company in Dubai which will directly handle the official registration of your olive oils with the local authorities.
Through this company, we have negotiated a special all-inclusive rate of 649€, covering every administrative step required to obtain your product identification number.

⚠️ Please note: this service is exclusively reserved for producers who have won medals in the Dubai Olive Oil Competition.

📌 How the Registration Process Works:

✅ Use of the bottle already sent for the competition:
To avoid unnecessary shipping costs, we will use one of the two bottles you already sent for the competition as the official sample for product registration with the local authorities. There is no need for you to send another bottle from your country.

✅ Official registration with the Municipality and FIRS system:
We will complete the full registration of your product with the Food Import and Registration System (FIRS), which is a legal requirement for all food products to be sold in the UAE market.

✅ Label verification and approval:
We will handle the verification of your labels according to UAE regulations, including mandatory translation into Arabic and validation of all required legal information.

✅ Issuance of your official product identification number:
Once the process is completed, your product will receive an official and permanent identification number, allowing you to legally sell and distribute your olive oil throughout the UAE without the need for annual renewal.

Award Ceremony & Professional Promotional Video of Your Brand

At the Dubai Olive Oil Competition, we believe that an award deserves more than just a simple medal handover in a room full of hundreds of producers.

While creating the presentation pages for the winners, we noticed that many producers do not have any professional video content that truly showcases their estate, their production process, or the human story behind their brand.

Yet, in today’s digital world, video has become essential for any brand wishing to grow and attract new clients and importers. We know that producing this type of content usually costs several thousand euros, and beyond the price, it’s often difficult to find a team capable of telling your story in an authentic and professional way.

This is why, instead of asking you to come to Dubai, spend money on flights, hotels, and transport just to collect your medal in a large group setting, we have chosen to invest these resources differently:

✅ We offer to send our professional marketing team directly to your country, to your estate, during your next harvest, in order to:
